What are you gonna do?

I am a big believer in finding smart people that think outside the norm. Why? Odds are they are thinking past the current problem and are three steps ahead to the next big thing. If you want to succeed like never before, thinking like you've always thought is no longer acceptable. You need to be out there. If you are going for a job interview, interview the company, it's your life and this job is part of your career path. You want to make sure it is the right place for you.

Work with people that can help you, as long as you can help them. Let's face it, it is a scratch my back world out there. If you want something from someone, you need to have something in return. Right there on the table, not at some point down the road.

Remember, recruiters work for the client, they don't work for you. Why should a recruiter put their reputation on the line with their clients for you? You want the recruiter to help you? Show them that you are the person that needs to be put out there. Remember, at the end of the day, we want to get you that job, but we need to make sure that you will not hurt our reputation when we do.
